Sweet potato — It can supplement the center, warm the stomach and nourish the five viscera.
Sweet potato is mild-natured and sweet. Supplement to the Compendium of Materia Medica records that sweet potato can supplement center, warm the stomach, and nourish the five viscera. Although sweet potato can nourish the stomach, eating too much sweet potato will increase stomach acid.

From Sheng Nong's Herbal Classic to Compendium of Materia Medica, Ganoderma lucidum has been described as bitterness in taste and mildness in nature. From the past records on Ganoderma lucidum, it can be concluded that Ganoderma lucidum's nature, flavor and efficacy are closely related to Ganoderma lucidum’s nourishing of the five viscera.
